Pula Bike is more than a bike rental

The facts: Two friends, business partners, and passionate cyclists enthusiasts, Bojan and Florian wanted to make a difference. In 2013, they founded mobile bicycle tours and rental business Pula Bike on the premise that safety and service can easily work hand in hand with responsible tourism. It was a tiny garage and old small delivery van with not much more than ambition, a dozen bicycles, few accessories and a very large helping of stubbornness – the bike tours and rental began.

In seeking out other people who had the same concern for safety and service, new staff were found and the Pula Bike team grew, as did our reputation. After six years of growing commitment, belief, action, and excellent collaboration, Florian has left the business on his own accord and started chasing new adventures on the sea. Since 2018, Bojan continued steering Pula Bike on his own, but the initial mission stayed the same.

Our mobile bicycle tours and rental is located in Pula, and serves the complete Istria region as well as the local hotels, hostels and private accommodations. We also offer various combo bike tours which includes an array of snorkeling, sea kayaking, swimming and other non-cycling activities. With our passion for learning, exploring and adventure we could simply not sit still. Expeditions became a passion. Each year we offer new, exciting and different routes.

Creating an offer focused on bicycle tours and rentals derives from a desire to provide the opportunity for tourists and all the other curious visitors to discover Pula and numerous beauties of nature that this countryside can offer. Also, equally important is our great love and passion for outdoor, cycling and nature that has certainly contributed to creating and developing this idea: what inspired us to share these amazing experiences with other people.

We enjoy providing a full guiding service and enabling cyclists of all levels to get the best rides easily without wasting their energy, time or getting lost. Cycling keeps everybody young in spirit! We have developed fantastic team culture throughout our entire organization and as result, we have excellent long-term working relationships with our staff; some of them working with us since the very beginning.

All of our guides are local licensed tour guides with excellent Croatian, English, Italian and German; they have in-depth knowledge of Pula and Istria, its local sights, facts, history, and culture. For many of our customers, our guides are often the highlight of their tour!

We are dedicated to ensuring our guides can not only provide excellent local knowledge but also a safe environment for all participants; they’ll make sure everything is running safely and smoothly behind the scenes to ensure you can relax and enjoy your tour.
